HeaterCell for Temperature Control of Vials and Cuvettes

  • Melt samples that are solid at room temperature
  • Establish calibrations at melt temperatures
  • Include the effect of temperature in calibration models of liquid mixtures
  • Use precision cuvettes or disposable vials with dual-optics selection
  • Room tempeature to 280 ºC
  • SMA fiber optic connections

HeaterCell is a fiber optic accessory designed to heat glass cells up to 280 ºC.  You can melt polymers to temperatures found in the reactor.  You can also keep samples at a constant temperature for calibration.  Many calibrations involving water and alcohols are temperature dependent.  By analyzing a sample set over the range of expected temperatures, HeaterCell can provide calibrations that take the effect of sample temperature into account in Guided Wave spectrophotometers and photometers.

HeaterCell was designed with dual optics that are accessed with the lever on the right side of the device.  Collimated light is used for square or rectangular cuvettes.  Convergent light is used for disposable vials.

HeaterCell has SMA connectors on each side that connect to our spectrophotometer or photometer.
