SOFTWARE ENGINEER

JOB SUMMARY:
Leads the design, development and sustaining of software for new
products according to established product development procedures.

Requirements: 
* Minimum of 5 years experience in software systems design and
firmware programming
* Expert Object-oriented analysis & design and Modern C++
programming
* Experience with Windows XP & Vista
* Experience developing real time system specifications, system
code and documentation
* Capable of writing system specifications (both firmware and user
interface related), firmware code, and drivers
* Experience managing outside contractors desirable
* Knowledge of Visual Basic and LabView desirable
* Degree in Computer Science preferred

Duties:  
* Work with Engineering, Marketing, and Manufacturing to develop
system software requirements for new products 
* Create the firmware code
* Generate system specifications for outside contractors to develop
the user interface code
* Interface with outside contractors
* Support/develop custom production test software
* Participates in system integration and test
* Document new software products
* May be required to travel both domestically and internationally
