NEW ClearView db Photometer Improved Performace at a Lower Cost

Introducing ClearView® db, the newest addition to Guided Wave’s photometric process analyzer line. This advanced design marries the factory-set features of its predecessor, the single beamed ClearView, with the flexible options of the no longer available ChemView photometer. The ClearView db offers a low cost-to-benefit ratio with the delivery of simple operation and accurate results. Because of their simplicity, photometers are more economical than high performance full spectrum analyzers. However, the ClearView db borrows the dual beam concept from our spectrometers, creating the first truly dual beam process photometer. By adding the dual beam feature, the performance drop in comparison to scanning spectrometers is lessened. Improvement can be attributed to:

• The impact of lamp aging is minimized thereby sustaining superior performance even with changes in intensity and color temperature.

• The detector noise is compensated for, independent of the measured sample, thus more of the signal represents the absorbance of the sample.

Though inexpensive, this photometer has a flexible configuration that meets most single-point analysis needs for liquid and gas process streams. The new ClearView db is ideal for making continuous color or chemical composition measurements in stable process streams. Our new ClearView db may be configured with up to 6 wavelengths over a wide of operation (from 450 – 2150 nm). The benefit is an economical online analyzer that is simple to operate and maintain while capable of delivering surprisingly sophisticated answers.

ClearView db is Available in 3 Enclosure Designs

  • ExProof Unit Class 1 Division I
  • ATEX explosion proof - Zpurge Unit Class 1 Division II
  • NEMA 4x - General Purpose Unit NEMA 4x
